Arsenal Women’s and Chelsea Ladies Football club will go head to head in the anticipated Women’s FA Cup Final on Saturday (May 5).
The match will take place at Wembley Stadium and is expected to break records for the largest crowd for a women’s FA match, with over 40,000 tickets already sold. It’s an incredible number given that only 4 years ago, just under 5,000 people attended.
This isn’t the first time that Arsenal and Chelsea have been in a final together, as just two years ago Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0. Arsenal also hold the record for winning the most cup titles, having won fourteen times. BBC1 will also be airing the match live and kick off is at 5:30pm.
