The City of Lincoln Council says fencing blocking off a homeless site under Wigford Way bridge was not put up without engaging with those affected.
Simon Walters, Director for Communities and Environment said:
“The safety of residents and visitors to Lincoln is always a priority and we have closed off this area following concerns raised with us by the police and public about anti-social activities taking place there.”
We went to the site to speak to locals.
