University of Lincoln graphic design show, Upload 21, forced online

Graphic design students organised Upload 21 to showcase the work of final year students and to celebrate their 3 hard worked years at University.

Upload is an annual tradition within the graphic design course at the University of Lincoln, however, Upload 21 has been forced online due to COVID-19.

Annika Rabone, Chair of Upload 21, said: “Unfortunately, due to COVID, the whole event will be online. However, this has allowed us to have live streams with industry professionals and allow employers to view the student’s work from anywhere in the world.

“Upload is incredibly important. The degree show has a private viewing for individuals in the industry, allowing students to network with potential employers, helping them get a job.”

Upload 21 kicks off from 4th June with livestreams and events running through the days leading up to 14th June, when the Upload 21 website goes live.

Branding of the Upload 21 graphic design show

Joshua Millard, co-chair of Upload 21 and graphic design student at the University of Lincoln, said: “Sometimes you get lost in the work that you are creating and before you know it. Upload has been amazing in teaching me about time management, which for a graphic designer is always a key skill.

“Networking has been a huge part of Upload too.”
