Lincoln City have found their new manager in ex Southend boss Steve TilsonThe Deal sees Steve Tilson with a two-and-half contract with Paul Brush as his assistaint
The imps had been left managerless until this morning since Chris Sutton left for personal reasons on the 29th of September following a 0-0 draw with Burton Albion.
Tilson takes over a club that is currently lying 20th in League 2 with 11 points from 11 games. Tilson who was in charge of Southend from 2003 until July this year. In his time he took them on two sucessive promotions in 2005 and 2006 towards the Championship. His Southend team defeated Lincoln City in the League Two playoff final in 2005.
The current care taker manager Scott Lindsey will resume his old role of first-team coach after this weekend where he will still in charge for the match against Shrewsbury.
Tilson and Brush will be unveiled at a press conference on Monday.
