It is fair to say that David Attenborough, and the likes of other great environmental activists has left an ever-lasting impression on current and future generations with their impactful and influential campaigns, documentaries, and docu-series, but what more can be done in order to protect and preserve our planet and is what we’re doing enough to help the environment before it’s too late?Â
The University of Lincoln have recently made more attempts and brought new systems and measures in place to make the uni eco-friendlier. Recycle bins have been made more accessible to students after complaints were made about certain university-based accommodation not offering recycling facilities. As well as this, the uni have held an environmental fayre sharing tips and information about how to help their local community and environment, as well as hosting community events such as litter picking and more. Â
For years, students have campaigned for the environment and the welfare of the world’s wildlife through live demonstrations, art campaigns (similar to the one below), online petitions to evoke change, helping local communities through small events, and more.
