Yesterday saw the City Council hold their planned meeting for local skaters to air their questions about the proposed skate park.
The project which is proposed to built next to the Grandstand on Carholme Road and gave skaters a chance to put questions to the designer and the project manager.
“Once were confident that we’re got design that meets everyone needs..then it’s a case of moving forward for planning permission.” said Anthony Angus team leader for recreational services at the city of Lincoln council.
The plan also has support from George Wolfen the Chairman of the Westend Residents society who “thinks it’s a good idea so as it’s within the City Council act of 1985 and doesn’t infringe to much on the common itself.”
