SECONDARY SCHOOLS TO RECEIVE FREE SANITARY PRODUCTS FROM GOVERNMENT FUNDING

Exchequer Philip Hammond has revealed that government funding will provide free sanitary products for secondary schools across the UK.

While it isn’t legislation, it is a big step forward to end period poverty.

This issue arouse awareness after Amika George started campaigning against Period Poverty in 2017 and brought a petition to Parliament.
