“Red meat is increasing our risk of cancer” – WHO

According to a report from the World Health Organisation, eating processed and red meat is increasing our risk of cancer. That means some of our breakfast favourites like bacon and sausages.

Evidence shows that there is probably a link between eating red and processed meat and the risk of bowel cancer.

People who eat a lot of these meats are at higher risk of bowel cancer compared to those who eat small amounts.
