Obesity: a growing concern

Throughout January gyms have been packed with new members attempting to maintain there new years resolutions.

However as time progresses, more and more people regress back to there old ways and go back to doing little exercise whilst eating unhealthy foods.

What can people do in order to change this pattern?

Steve Dransfield is a clinical hypnotherapist who supplies a six week course which makes people eat as if they have had a gastric band. He claims that over eating is all in the mind, and that no matter what is done to the body, the mind still wants to over eat. His course aims to combat this.

There are also various other things people are trying in order to lose weight, classes in pole dancing, zumba and spinning are growing in popularity as people search for alternative ways to slim down.

Personal trainer Steve Noble says “A really healthy approach to fitness and nutrition” is the best way to maintain a healthier lifestyle. By doing this people can avoid serious heart conditions and other illnesses.
