Halloween is a time for everyone to dress up and have a little bit of fun.
This year though, it was less trick and more treat for local residents as Lincolnshire Showground hosted a world record attempt for the most people dancing the ‘hokey-cokey’ at the same time. The event was held in aid of the Lincolnshire Autism Awareness Rally.
Activities for the day included five musical acts, a Lady Gaga tribute act, entertainment stools as well as the world record attempt itself.
As the day progressed, it was obvious that the world record was out of reach. However, the organiser Lynn Ingell, had the UK record in her sites.
All proceeds from the day’s events went towards helping families who are affected by autism.
Besma Ayari went along to find out if the spookily-clad crowd could become record breakers.
