LSJ News’ sat down with England’s highest ever capped footballer, Peter Shilton, to talk about his career, sexism and strictly.
Shilton, who played for his country 125 times and is widely regarded as one of the greatest ‘keepers to have ever donned the three lions, was at Lincoln’s Drill Hall on the latest leg of his speaking tour around the country.
The audience were treated to two halves of 45 minutes where the record-holder spoke about his career which spanned over an incredible four decades. As well as that, he has played under some of the greatest managers to have ever lived, including Brian Clough, Sir Alf Ramsey and Sir Bobby Robson.
