Lincoln Ladies have said that they are prepared for the start of the Super League season.
All of the teams will have a mix of professional and semi – professional players and after securing the signatures of established England International such as Sue Smith and Jess Clarke, its clear Lincoln don’t intend to be left behind.
The Football Association are confident that the new league will not only persuade England’s best players to remain here but also allow women’s football to compete with the male version.
Being a member team of the new league means that the ‘Lady Imps’ will have a bigger budget to spend on equipment and new signings, as well as better advertising to attract bigger crowds. The Chief Executive of the club says that they are “…having to seek more sposnors than ever before.”
The girls have been training hard and are showing promising signs of a good season.
