Lincolnshire Police has launched a new scheme to educate primary school children in Lincolnshire about security.
The education programme, fronted by mascot Bobby Bear, covers all areas of safety including personal safety and rail safety amongst others.
It is the brain child of Detective Chief Inspector of Lincolnshire Police, Simon West. Although the scheme is currently only run in Lincoln, it is hoped that if it is successful it will be used across the country soon.
After the launch day’s activities, packs will be sent to schools across the county to aid them with lesson plans and resources to help teach the pupils an important message.
