Domestic Abuse is something that often goes unreported, but in reality it is a real issue in the society we live in today.
Last year there were over 8000 reported incidents of domestic abuse in Lincolnshire alone, and early signs suggest this figure is likely to grow again this year.
A local organisation in Lincoln is hoping to change that however. ‘Lincoln Women’s Aid’ help women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse, and attempt to try and get their lives back on track.
However, the organisation are being forced to find new ways to save money and keep the service open due to extensive governement cuts.
