Residents are celebrating after an announcement that the Olympic torch will pass through Lincolnshire.
It will be carried through 29 communities within the county.
On the 27th of June, exactly one month before the games begin, it will arrive to its first location in Lough.
It will then carry on to other communities such as Mablethorpe, Skegness and Boston.
It’s final destination is in the city of Lincoln where a party event will be held at Yarborough Sports ground for residents to celebrate.
During its 8000-mile journey around the UK, it will be carried by 8000 torchbearers.
More than 50 people from Lincolnshire have been shortlisted for the honour of carrying the torch which will be picked based on personal achievement or contribution to the local community.
The contenders will find out whether they have been successful on Monday, 5th of December.
