With the success of team GB at the Beijing Olympics, it is on the shoulders of a new generation of athletes to ensure that the United Kingdom continues to make itself proud at the London 2012 games.
However, one Olympics hopeful is frustrated at the lack of support she has been given from Lincolnshire’s sporting facilities; claiming they are not good enough to get her to the standard required for 2012.
Mary Allen Phillips is in training for track athletics and feels it necessary to travel to Hull to find a track good enough for her to train on.
