Lincoln has now joined London and created its very own Monopoly board.
Peter Griffin, Monopoly development director at Winning Moves UK, has released the game following months of voting from the audience. Voting closed in June, giving the creaters of the game chance to bring the idea together.
Lincoln residents have definitely had their say on what famous local landmarks should take pride of place on the board, some even going as far to suggest the railway crossings. The four London train stations originally on the board have been replaced by a Lincoln travel theme. Also Community Chest and Chance cards have been made more relevant to the Lincolnshire area.
The most expensive location, Mayfair is represented by Lincoln Cathedral, with the castle being in the Park Lane site. The Museum of Lincolnshire Life, the Stonebow and the University of Lincoln also feature on the board.
