From face painting to cake stalls and arts and crafts, The Strait on Lincoln’s high street will be having it all in a day to remember as the Fete on the Strait returns on Saturday, March 24th.
Richard Baxter, event organiser, hopes to raise enough money to get an archway put up between Kind pub and the dentist to tell people that they are separate from Steep Hill and to give them their own identity.
The event is being held to celebrate the number of independent shops that are located in the area and is free for all to attend from 10am until 4pm.
Michaela Soltys spoke to Richard Baxter to find out more about the event and what they are planning to do with the money raised.
