University of Lincoln students are unhappy with the date for students to return to campus. This is due to the university’s term time being over before face-to-face teaching is allowed to begin again. As well as this, students feel hard done by as they will only have seven days of in-person teaching before examinations begin on May 24 2021.
Adam Laver, a MA Journalism student, said “It’s obviously disappointing that the university is starting to open as we’ve finished the term because we’ve spent so much time learning from home.”
Professor Liz Mossop, the university’s Vice Chancellor for Student Development and Engagement has said that “preparations have been made to ensure students can have contact with their tutors and colleagues to ensure they are able to finish their studies.”
The Government has stated that University students can return to campus on May 17 2021.
