“Another big tie” is what Lincoln City goalkeeper Josh Vickers is hoping for in the FA Cup.
The Imps’ goalkeeper was speaking ahead of the team’s journey to the south, where they will face Portsmouth tonight at 7.45pm.
The young keeper seemed excited, having found new form, saying: “It was nice to keep another clean sheet at home, we’ve been very good at home in terms of clean sheets.”
Vickers is hoping for a repeat of the famous FA Cup run the Imps’ had in 2017, in which they made it to the Quarter Finals and lost to Arsenal. He said: “It would be nice if we could go on another run For us its about just going as far as we can so if we can get another big tie here it would be really nice”
Lincoln City drew Ipswich Town in last nights FA Cup draw and will face the side on November 9.
