Lincoln City travel to Northampton on Saturday on the back of two straight wins against Aldershot and Maccesfield.
The Imps will still be without loan signing Joe Heath. The defender played a reserve team game in midweek, after two months out recovering from a double hernia operation.
The game will be a special occasion for Richard Butcher, who is playing against his hometown club having never won there. The midfielder expects to see some familiar faces.
“My uncle and family are season ticket holders, so hopefully it will be a good game and we can get the result we need.”
Manager Chris Sutton is wary of Northampton’s threats despite a poor start to the campaign.
The former chelsea striker said, ” They have a threat upfront with Herbert who is very direct and Guinan who seems to have a bit of guile, it will be how we deal with it.”
The match kicks off at 3 pm tommorow and fans are able to pay on the day.
Also this week, Lincoln full back Cian Hughton made his Republic of Ireland under 21 debut in their 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
