Lincoln City manager, David Holdsworth, is relying on the Imp’s home form to win this weekend’s game against Alfreton Town.
After last weekend’s game against Mansfield Town which Holdsworth described as; “A good game. We had desire, passion and commitment but we gave away two cheap goals.” The Imp will want to continue to impress and continue to show the same passion as they did last week.
The Imps currently sit 18th in the Blue Square Conference league a point above Alfreton Town who have played the same number of games. This is another match in Lincoln’s 2011/12 campaign which could prove crucial if the Imps want to stay above Alfreton Town and more importantly relegation.
Alfreton go into the weekend game with massive confidence after beating Stockport 6-1 earlier in the week. The Imp’s will have to be prepared for what will be a tough fight against a strong attacking oppostion.
