Lincoln City’s match away at Chester FC tonight has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The groundsmen at the Swansway Chester Stadium tried to prevent the pitch from freezing after they put down frost sheets, however, their attempts weren’t successful.
Chris Moyses’ side would have travelled into the match knowing a win would take them into the play off places as they look for promotion out of the Vanarama Conference.
Lincoln still remain in 10th place just two points off the play offs and will look to put their away form right when they travel to Maccesfield on Saturday.
No new date for the fixture has been released.
