Here’s our interview with festival creator, Mikey Murray, explaining everything you need to know about the festival.
Indie-Lincs, an annual film festival in Lincoln, started yesterday on the University of Lincoln campus.
The event will showcase the latest in low-budget movie-making from around the world.
The first event took place at the Stephen Langton building on the University of Lincoln Campus but other venues around the city will be showing films. These include the Venue Cinema at Bishop Grosseteste University (on Friday 16) and the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC) on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18.
The majority of the productions on show are short films but there will also be several feature-length films to see.
The festival will also host talks from actors such as Steve Oram (The End of the F*cking World, Sightseers), John Hollingworth (The Dark Knight Rises, Poldark) and Rebecca Root (The Danish Girl).
The full programme of the festival, which is now in its third year, can be found here.
The pricing ranges from free to up to £12 for a Saturday/Sunday pass.
