How will the debt crisis effect the UK?

As the Eurozone Crisis summit in Brussells continues, worries about the state of other European countries such as Italy and Spain are rising, but what does it mean for the UK?

The UK’s stance on the situation was weakened as Labour leader, Ed Milliband, claimed that Prime Minister David Cameron and his deputy, Nick Clegg were divided on opinions over key issues such as employment and social affairs.

A difference of opinion about European affiars isn’t the only thing we should be worrying about. Head of Economics at the University of Lincoln, Dr David Gray says:

“We don’t think this debt crisis will really effect us but it already has.”

While he says that we all are suffering as a consequence of the crisis, he suggests that the younger generations should be extra careful.
