The organization Wikileaks recently released a video that shows an US-Apache gunship killing two insurgents who tried to surrender to the helicopter.
This and similar videos have sparked a discussion about the way the Iraq War has been led. But also one about the threat that revelations of military secrets could pose to British soldiers.
Our reporter Urs Endhardt went to London to interview the DA-Notice secretary, Andrew Vallance, and the former General Secretary of the CND, Bruce Kent, about that topic.
“The UK government hasn’t bothered to conceal its panic as well as the United States, recently issuing a class 1 and class 5 DA-Notice that reprehensibly asks the British press to censor “military operations, plans, capabilities” and “security and intelligence special services” that may be contained in the next WikiLeak.”
