In their first full season as a club, Lindum Hockey Club Men’s first team have cemented a mid table spot.
After losing their first six games of the season, they won their next six out of seven games to lift themselves up the North Hockey Division One league.
But, since the Christmas break, their form has been indifferent, winning two of their four games.
On Saturday, they met Harrogate, who they beat 6-3 earlier in the season.
Lindum were looking to end a run of two straight defeats in their penultimate home league game of the season.
The side from Lincoln sat in sixth place, whilst their visitors were in fifth place.
With just three games of the season remaining after this fixture, Lindum were hoping to end their season on a high.
The game, however, was taken over by cards for both sides in an ill-tempered affair.
