A lincoln based cafe called the Healthy Hub has combined with The Government and the Job Centre to help 18-24 year olds who are out of work, gain job experience.
The first person to start the 6 month period of the scheme, has been volunteering this past year, and is looking forward to this chance.
Dean Counden (22) said, “Dont give up hope there is work out there for everyone.”
Healthy Hub manager Cara Moore was delighted to help out with the scheme.
“We have been funded over 200,000 by the government to fill 35 jobs for 6-9 months.”
The scheme is a positive step in ensuring the future of 18-24 year olds around the Country, and is proving to be a good investment in Lincolnshire.
