The charity single for victims of the Haiti earthquake has been released to websites, radio stations and television channels across the country.
The song, a cover of REM’s ‘Everybody Hurt’s’, was organised by Simon Cowell and recieved it’s first airplay yesterday.
Stars such as Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart and Westlife have teamed up to contribute to the single.
The single will be available for download on February 7th and to buy in shops on February 8th.
All money raised by the song will be equally divided between the The Sun’s ‘Helping Haiti’ campaign and the Disaster Emergency Committee.
Gordon Brown has said that he will waive VAT on all sales of the song in order to maximise the amount raised for the charities.
