Free microchipping sessions have been offered to dog owners in Lincoln by the Dogs Trust, in a bid to get every dog microchipped before 2016.
New laws mean that as of April 2016 micropchipping will become compulsory for all dog owners in England.
Microchipping normally costs around £35 to get done at a vets, and so far the free sessions have been hugely successful.
