Today marks the last day in Anti-Bullying week. This year the main focus was on ‘Cyber Bullying’.
Through the introduction of social networking sites bullying has evolved into new means of intimidation for tormented school pupils.
Simon Daemon works at Sincil School in Lincoln and deals in with troubled or troublesome pupils. We spoke to him about how bullying has developed and why kids may still make use of social networking sites even when they continue to be bullied.
Simon went on to say:
“So long as you’ve got people from different backgrounds mixing you’re never going to have continuity and peace and harmony. It’s an ideal but I don’t think it’ll ever happen”
