Do you love musicals? Do you have a soft spot for show tunes?
If yes, then you’re in luck, as the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre will be striking back with a medley of all the favourites.
Students from the LPAC at the University of Lincoln have produced and will be performing Broadway and West End hits in way you have never seen before on Saturday 1st February.
A great night out for all the family, performances will feature classics from Les Miserables and Annie, alongside brand new, “show-stopping” dance routines that will have your “feet tapping”.
Performer and marketing manager Lauren Simpson explained that Encore has something for everyone. “There’s something from newer musicals like the Book of Mormon and Wicked, as well as the older and more classical musicals like Les Mis. We’ve got stuff from Avita, we’ve got an Oliver medley. We’ve got all sorts.”
“There is quite a lot of upbeat fun one’s this year, so I think that’ll be quite interesting and there’s quite a lot of humour.”
Starting at 7:30pm, tickets for the event are £10 for Adults, £8 Concessions and £5 Students & Under 26s.
