Lincolnshire county council have placed a ban on disabled people parking on Waterside South.
The restriction came into action when there were increasing reports of a number of Blue Badge holders parking on double yellow lines and breaking regulations by driving down the road between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
The scheme has been on trial since July 2017 and has prevented anyone from parking on Waterside South with the exception of four Blue Badge spaces for disabled users and loading bays for delivery drivers.
Councillors met on December 3 to discuss implications of the ban, arguing that it improves public safety in Lincoln.
