Christmas has come early as one lady in self-isolation attempts to keep her family afloat.

Frances Best suffers from an underlying heart condition and asthma, having only recently suffered a mild heart attack. Therefore, she has to self-isolate for 12 weeks in Waddington.

In an attempt to stem the boredom, and make the box sets on TV and Netflix last, she has been keeping herself busy sewing Christmas stockings.

Frances creates beautifully personalised small, medium and large stockings, as well as decorative jingle bells. Currently she is making 19 large, and 4 medium stockings to order.

Although the government have been very helpful during this time by regularly phoning to check in on her health, she says, little is being done to financially help after she has recently been made redundant.

Unable to seek employment, and with no benefits coming in, a side business with some Christmas spirit is just what Frances needed.
