Police have been pictured removing ballot papers from a counting centre near Glasgow over allegations of impersonation (one person votes by impersonating another in the area).
At the Glasgow count there are three cases being looked into and one is alleged in Stirling.
A Renfrewshire Council spokesperson said “We have been made aware of an incident earlier today…where a member of the public arrived at the polling station to place a vote to find that it had already been cast by another member of the public…the matter was reported to Police Scotland and as such is now subject to a police investigation”.
