The Boutham park restoration project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, is due to enter its second phase.
The £1.17 million scheme is aimed at improving biodiversity in the area and restoring the historic lake that makes up part of the scenery.
The first phrase of the project introduced a cafe and glass house to the area, as well as a restoration of an old stable block.
Mark Scholfield, conservation officer at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, said the new phase will put the icing on the cake of what is already a great boost to the area.
