Bailgate Wedding Fayre takes place about twice every year, in March and October.
Five wedding venues take part in hosting, including Old Palace, White Hart Hotel, Charlotte House, Lincoln Hotel and Judges Lodging.
Sharon Queen of Bridal Hair of Lincoln, said: “I just love doing bridal hair, so being here at the Bailgate Wedding Fayre is an amazing opportunity.
“I’m pleased that people come to wedding fayres, because we’re all here to help the brides and to format a package for them.
“The majority of girls that come to me don’t know what it is that they want for their wedding hair style, and that is what I am here for.”
Wedding photographer, Stuart Wilde sees the fayre as an opportunity to find out what his clients really want from his work, it helps him with his portfolio.
He said: “This is the premier wedding fayre in Lincoln. We did one here back in October and we got a lot of bookings off the back of it.
“We’re the only photographers in the White Hart venue, so it’s really good. Business is going really well at the moment, we’ve had a lot of positive feedback, and we give people examples of our work.”
Future bride, Vicky Hines, is yet to set a date for her wedding, and went to the Bailgate Wedding Fayre.
She said: “We’re getting as many ideas about venues and everything as we can, and this is a perfect opportunity really.
“It’s so busy, we haven’t had chance to see much yet, but we love the table centres, and the stationary is really impressive.”
