Students from the University of Lincoln have held an art exhibition in a haunted building entitled “Corpus”.
The exhibition focuses on the human body after death and is designed to “unnerve” attendees according to it’s organisers.
Each work of art aims to depict a corpse-like structure, but rather than focus on the morbid or realistic side, the exhibition uses techniques to portray a more beautiful side of a morbid topic.
One particular work is a life-size shell of a human body which is completely translucent and made out of sellotape.
The event is taking place at St Mary’s Guildhall, towards the bottom of the high street this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-5PM. Admission is free.
