Thousands of people have flocked to the High Street as Lincoln city centre has entered its first weekend under eased lockdown restrictions.
Pints were flowing and non-essential shops were reopened at the start of the week as England continued on Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown.
The seating areas outside restaurants were full to the brim with happy customers enjoying food and socialising in this rarely sunny day. Shoppers were never tried of queuing outside Primark and many people were heading towards the Lincoln Cathedral.
“I feel very great about this weekend,” a tourist from Boston said, “This is a sort of liberty.”
