Junior doctors are continuing their strike action over proposed contract changes. The action is first of three forty-eight hour walkouts as part of a long-running dispute with Health secretary Jeremy Hunt.
The strike was caused by government ministers are imposing a contract on junior doctors in England.
This comes after chief negotiator Sir David Dalton advised the government to do “whatever it deems necessary” to end the deadlock.
Junior doctors say they will only be available for emergency care.
