A yellow weather warning has been issued for Lincolnshire after snowfall overnight left Lincoln with a thin sheet of snow.
People are warned to watch out for icy patches initially on untreated surfaces.
Today showers will initially be falling as snow inland, and as sleet or rain along the coast, however bright or sunny intervals are also predicted across Lincolnshire in between light cloud.
Temperatures are due to reach a high of three degrees this afternoon however it may feel like minus one degree due to the snow on the ground.
