Students sleep out to raise money

As most students head home to start the weekend, a group of student volunteers are preparing for a very different night.

Kayleigh Coddington and seven of her friends have set up camp outside the main building of the University of Lincoln. They set up at 1pm today and will be staying there for 24 hours.

They have a sign and two buckets with them to show all the students walking by that they are raising money for the Homeless charity the Nomad Trust.

Kayleigh was the one who organised the event, I interviewed her to find out what encouraged her to do it.

If you would like to donate some money to the charity the students will be on campus until 1pm tomorrow.
