Lincoln City manager Gary Simpson is delighted with the impact of Alan Power after he came off the bench to earn the Imps a point against Wrexham.
Power, who has been a near ever present for the club since joining in 2011, hadn’t started a game since he was dropped following the 1-0 defeat against Aldershot in September.
In recent weeks, Simpson had criticised the performances of some of his senior players as the Imps struggled for league form, but the former Macclesfield manager is delighted to see Power making an impact.
“When we put Alan on and we got three in the midfield, we starting picking a bit more up and could get the fullbacks involved.
“He’s looked a lot better in training this week and he put a good shift in, in the week at Grimsby.
“At the end of the day he came on today, got himself a goal and got us a point.”
