A public event is being held this afternoon to gather a range of views on the idea to pedestrianise more of Lincoln’s High Street.
The event will be held at the Think Tank on Ruston Way, in Lincoln, from 4.30pm today.
It is Lincolnshire County Council who are planning to pedestrianise more of Lincoln’s High Street.
The idea is to create a new area for shoppers and tourists in Lincoln between Tentercroft Street and St Mary’s Street.
The council is developing proposals to improve the area with various landscaping including: paving, seating, foliage and other features.
However, if the councils plans are finalised part of the road could be closed to traffic, hindering the motorists in the city.
