A new charity shop, Sophie’s Journey, is due to open up in late November on Newark Road in Lincoln.
The owner, Stacy Southwell, who founded the charity in 2018, says: “Sophie’s Journey was set up in memory of our daughter, who sadly passed away from a cancerous brain tumour in 2016”.
“What we do now is provide free holidays for children living with cancer in Lincolnshire,” she says.
The store aims to raise funds to buy a lodge for bereaved families, which Stacy hopes will be able to provide a comfortable environment for people to grieve.
You can shop in-person at Riverside Unit, 246 Newark Road or online at their Vinted account ahead of their grand opening in late November.
