National Car Parks have recently responded to criticisms of their parking policies.
A customer at St Rumbold’s Street in Lincoln claimed that he had been fined incorrectly for his stay in the car park.
NCP have responded saying they’re “fully compliant with private parking regulations.”
The fine for overstaying your ticket duration is £60 and must be paid within 14 days. Any longer will result in a further £40 charge.
According to a recent LSJ Twitter poll, when asked ‘do you think parking fines should be paid if people are late back to their cars’.
Results showed 44% of people said ‘No, if it is only a few minutes’.
