Lincoln’s top hockey club still searching for first win this season

Lindum Hockey are still winless following a 5-1 loss to Brooklands Manchester despite being 1-1 at half time.

The Yellow Submarine headed into their game against Brooklands Manchester University without a win after three games.

Brooklands took the lead thanks to a Peter Flanagan goal following a short corner.

Lindum managed to equalise just before half time when Ben Read fired a shot through a crowd of players into the goal.

The game was decided in the third quarter due to Brooklands scoring three goals in the space of ten minutes putting them 4-1 up heading into the final quarter.

Another goal in the final quarter sealed the loss for Lindum and leaving them still winless.

Head coach Stuart Cunnington said, “It was a tough one to take.”
