The star forward of Lindum men’s third team says the club can go unbeaten all season after they extended their streak to 18 games on Saturday.
The side beat Leeds Adel 4, 4-1 on penalties to progress to the next round of the cup.
Anthony Gorman said: “We have not lost a game yet this season so hopefully we can maintain that record through to the end of the season and then look to push on and consolidate in the league above next year.”
Lindum showed early signs that they were full of confidence.
After a host of early chances they went ahead thanks to a fine finish from Glyn Fowler who slotted home to cap off a fine team move.
The hosts extended their advantage through Anthony Gorman, who pounced on a short corner that was saved by the keeper, taking his tally for the season to 12.

In a game of treacherous conditions, it was Leeds who took authority in the second half as they looked to get back into the game.
“I think first ten minutes we were all over them that when we got our two goals. From there I think we just took our foot off the pedal a little bit,” said Sean Colcough.
Quick fire goals 10 minutes from time made it 2-2 and forced the game into a nail-biting penalty shootout. In the end, it was Lindum who had the last laugh as Leeds saw two penalties saved to prevent them clinching a comeback.
Six games remain in what could be a historical season with Slazenger 2s next.
