St Peter’s Passage off Lincoln High Street could be closed after complaints were made to the City Council of antisocial behaviour, including defecation, urination and sexual activities.
The results of a four-week consultation are to be presented to a council scrutiny committee today and, if it is agreed, then the passage will be fenced off under a Public Space Protection Order.
The passage provides a connection between the High Street and Mint Lane, however gates may be installed to restrict access, with exceptions made for businesses and emergency services.
