Lincoln duo donate £1,000 to charity

Estate agent brothers Tim and Will Downing, from the Pygott & Crone agency, have donated £1,000 to local charity Flights for Life.

The money came from a 500-kilometre cycle ride, a journey that started in the Italian coastal city of Trieste and ended in Munich, in southern Germany.

They’re part of a team of nineteen riders that supports a variety of major charities, such as Action Against Cancer and Leukemia & Lymphoma Research. They’ve topped fifty thousand pounds this year and raised more than three hundred and thirty thousand pounds since the annual ride first started in 2007.

Flights for Life, based at Wickenby Airfield in Langworth, gives children and young adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses the opportunity to experience flying in light aircraft.
